The Moonlighting Cover Gallery
May 2002 The Sunday Times newspaper supplement's cover story on Bruce Willis has an extended interview with the star. It also has a nice color photo of Bruce and Cybill holding the Golden Globes they both won in 1987 for Moonlighting. Willis talks about David Addison and says "I got to play someone who was close to my take on life and how men deal with women and don't understand them....That character, Addison, was really me. This is how guys are. This is what I think. I didn't have enough acting skills at the time to really get outside myself and play a different character that was not of the flesh and blood of Bruce Willis. But that sense of humor and f***-you attitude was pretty much where I was in my late twenties. It just fit. It was a really exciting time in my life." |
